Photographic prints can be purchased by Paypal Email requests. Please mail us if you would like to make a purchase in this manner. We also take credit cards by phone or through direct personal contacts and meetings for our Irish customers. We provide fine art photography to art galleries and dealers, interior designers, corporate customers and individual collectors so please don’t hesitate to call or email if you have any questions.
Gift Vouchers
We also offer gift vouchers for Christmas, birthdays or just those special occasions so the recipient can choose the perfect image to suit there home. Simply contact us via email or by phone (details are at the bottom of very page) to organise the perfect gift for a loved one.
Long Lasting and Limited Editions
At Explorelight we endeavour to draw distinction to our work not just in terms of style and aesthetic quality, but also through means of presentation and print quality. We employ only the finist Giclee system to ensure all of our prints have the colour gamet and sharpness they deserve.
To ensure maximum quality in our prints we continue to shoot medium format transparency film. We then scan film or very high resolution digital cameras. We an Imacon Virtual Drum scanner before printing.
All our images are also limited editions of 50 or 25. This means that only a limited number of photographic prints can be produced of each image making your photograph a collectable piece of art that will stand the test of time. A certificate of edition and quality authenticity will be presented with every print. All prints will be printed with a matt finish. Images are not manipulated to ensure the final product accurately represents a genuine natural depiction of the scene in question.
Mounted, Unmounted and Canvas Prints?
Mounted prints are dry mounted in a four-inch acid free white matt, signed and numbered. Dry mounting is a more expensive process than regular mounting but ensures your print will stand the test of time and look its best when framed. All mounts will be white unless we are advised of a specific request. The print will be signed and editioned out of view below the mount. The mount will also be signed and editioned in pencil so your framed image has optimum aesthetic and collectable appeal. There is an additional charge for delivery of dry mounted prints due to logistical and packaging difficulties associated with posting imagery in this format.
Unmounted prints and canvas prints will have borders up to two inch’s wider than image size as quoted in our pricing guide and will be delivered domestically and internationally free of charge in a solid cylindrical tube to ensure no damage can occur while your print is in transit. Both formats will be signed and editioned by Ed or Peter.
Blockmounted, Stretched Canvas and Framed Photographic Prints?
All of our imagery can be ordered blockmounted, on stretched canvas or framed.
Block mounted prints are heat sealed to a 12 millimetre board with batons attached to the back to allow the image to float on the wall. Canvas prints can be stretched to a one-inch wooden frame ready for hanging. We use as standerd black aluminium for traditional framing but can also meet specific requests if a different finish is required.
