Our one day landscape photography seminars are designed to provide participants with some concrete idea’s and techniques to improve there landscape photography at a very affordable price. They take place in a lecture type environment over the course of a full day where Peter will lecture on a range of topics (see below) which you can take in to the field next time your out shooting. If you want an inexpensive way to pick up some new practcial knowledge about landscape photography then this is the course for you.
Our one day seminars are geared towards both beginners and improvers. As such we have designed two different courses which deal with issues of note for people just starting out and for those with a little more experience.
Costs and Whats Included
Our one day seminars are a very affordable €60. For this you will recieve a full day of lectures from 10am until 4.30pm as described below. You will also recieve notes on all the issues covered within this cost.
Beginners:
Morning:
- File Types – JPEG, TIFF and RAW
- What one should I be using
- Polarising Filters, An inexpensive but invlauable tool for landscape photography
- See how this filter can improve sky detail and saturation, remove glare from rivers and help make water look silky
- Exposure, How does my camera record light?
Afternoon
- Using Aperture Priority to get sharpness of your images from front to back
- Using Exposure comensation to brighten and darken images
- Composition and Light
Intermediate
Morning
- Exposure, F stops explianed, Aperture and Shutter Speed
- Shooting in Aperture Priority and Manual Mode
- Histograms Explained
- Exposing to the Right for Maximum detail
Afternoon
- Dynamic Range
- Using Graduated Neutral Density Filters to avoid white out skies
- Exposure Blending in Photoshop Using Layers Masks to avoid white out skies
